Hey folks. If you hadn’t noticed, I am no longer at www.anfin.erelas.com. By request of my brother, I ask that all 6 of you change any bookmark you may have of this site to http://skgoforth.com. Thank you.

I slightly resent recent insinuations that I should be doing better at blogging than I have been. For one thing, I have never claimed to be the cool computer savvy cool person that Jonathan is. For another thing, my writing is not as terribly fun to read as my cool computer savvy cool brother Jonathan (or for that matter my cool somewhat-computer-savvy cool friend Lauren. . . though I’d say that my posts are almost up to par with my cool definitely-not-at-all-computer-savvy cool friend Tori’s). My final justification for my infrequent blogging is the fact that my life is not particularly interesting. After all, if one is not a prolific writer and in addition has nothing of interest to write about, how can their blog posts be anything but incredibly boring reads? When in fact something interesting does happen to me, I generally immediately relate it to the people who care by phone or in person. Thus, it seems silly to inform them again through a blog post. However, if you would like for me to perform this useless practice, I will aim to please. You should expect mundane and redundant information in the future, and don’t complain…you asked for it.

Yes, Jonathan, I know I’m an awful blogger

However, it must be noted that I never claimed that I would be. Anyway, hello all. I know that I have been rather silent for the past couple of weeks, but really, I was very busy. Now, though, I have survived last week with relative success, so perhaps I will be a little bit better about blogging. Perhaps. . .

Consequently, I have actually written a post or two in the past couple weeks only to quickly erase them because I thought they were rather stupid. One was entitled something to the effect of “John Glenn, the energy crisis, and impressive toads,” and I don’t even remember what the other one was about. In other words, you haven’t missed much. I’m a boring person.

So it’s official. I’ll be going to England over Thanksgiving Break. It may kill my grades, but I really couldn’t pass up the opportunity. My goal is to pack as completely lightly as possible. One backpack: that is all that I will allow myself. We’ll see how it goes.

I’m feeling very powerful right now, for I have been given the task of grading CHM-11 labs. That’s right, a tiny portion of all the CHM-11 students’ grades is in my hands.

Hmmm. . . Well, I really don’t have anything else to say. See, I told you I was a boring person.

Well at least I am accomplishing something . . .

If I’ve done nothing else by starting this blog, at least I seemed to have spurred my good brother into actually using his again. I consider this to be a great accomplishment.

Speaking of accomplishments, I made something yellow in lab today. Yay! All you need know is that yellow is the favorite color of anyone doing chemistry of CrN6 chromophores (which, consequently, is what we’re doing). . . at least while they are in lab it is.

New location after only 4 days

When my big brother offered my this nice little spot on his domain, I was only too glad to accept. I believe it will have many advantages, one of the biggest being that people won’t have to register to xanga to comment. Speaking of which, sorry you apparently went to the trouble, Dad. Anyway, there are also no ads, I can have a permanent link menu, and I will have more control over the look of it. All in all, not a bad deal.

In other news, my lab group can’t win a Volleyball match (or whatever you call it) to save our lives. The end.
