Sarah was last spotted in Greenwood, South Carolina! We enjoyed the bread that she left behind, and I believe she really enjoyed watching the Greenwood Community Theater production of Fiddler on the Roof. We look forward to having Sarah in Greenwood this summer or sooner!

I read "Love in the Time of Cholera", which I picked up at the airport back in September and desperately needed something to read, and also because it won the Nobel prize and was being made into a movie. I personally was not a fan, whatever the Nobel prize people say. However, it was fairly interesting and maybe you'd like it more than I did.

Other than that, I'm actually going to peruse the public library tomorrow (Sunday, if they're open) or the day after for a new book. It was nice out the other day and I searched through every book I have and the only one that looked appealing to read by the pool on a sunny afternoon was, shock, Harry Potter. I can't start that series yet again. I must read something new. SO - if you happen to find anything worth reading, let me know! Maybe we can start a book club or exchange or something. :)

PS Sorry this comment is almost a month late. I always forget you don't have a Xanga anymore, and I never remember your new website!

Thanks, Sarah. This is the first time I have been able to go to your blog since my birthday. For some unknown reason, our internet provider at the apartment is blocking it, but the one here at school is allowing it. We have been out of school since Thursday because of the Eid holiday.

That's an adorable picture of Rusty.

My pants set off alarms sometimes too. You know you can cut the little metal tag thing out of them. In fact, they advise you to do so. Maybe that will help.

I would probably choose the $398 fare with Delta connecting in Atlanta. Delta has many flights out of Atlanta, so could probably get you on another flight easily if something happened. I have had bad experiences with US Airways (delayed a flight one hour so some cruise ship passengers could make the flight; I missed my international flight as a result!). The United flight is entirely too expensive and no more reliable than the others.

I should be moving down in August. I think classes start on the 25th, and I'll have orientation before that. I'm not sure when I'm going apartment hunting yet, though.

whoo, hoo! Welcome to the Florida, one of those fun places on earth where it was 95 degrees out on Saturday, and this morning, it was 47 degrees. Also, I live here. When are you moving down?
